Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Valid driver's license for the state or commutable area
  • One month related experience or training
  • Ability to read and comprehend English
  • Ability to write simple correspondence
  • Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations
  • Ability to understand time systems and rates
  • Ability to operate manual transmission preferred
  • Ability to perform parallel parking
  • Physical ability to exert up to 100 pounds occasionally
  • Capacity to work outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Availability for part-time shifts including AM, PM, and overnight
  • Willingness to travel up to 5 percent
  • Ability to communicate and engage with guests professionally

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Must hold a valid driver’s license for the state or within commutable distance
  • One month related experience and/or training or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Knowledge of principles and processes for customer and personal services
  • Ability to read and write standard English
  • Ability to comprehend simple instructions, correspondence, and memos
  • Ability to write simple correspondence
  • Ability to effectively present information to guests, clients, and employees
  • Ability to perform basic arithmetic including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division with respect to money
  • Ability to understand 24-hour and military time systems
  • Ability to understand rates applicable to time passed
  • Ability to operate a manual transmission is highly desirable
  • Ability to perform parallel parking

Job Duties

  • Maintain a pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with guests, co-workers, and clients
  • Greet guests within five feet with a professional and friendly demeanor using guest last names
  • Use salutation of the day and welcome guests to the location
  • Practice proper phone etiquette
  • Park and retrieve vehicles while driving slowly and cautiously
  • Assist guests with bell services and luggage storage
  • Open vehicle and hotel doors for guests
  • Assist guests with directions, taxis, reservations, and other inquiries
  • Provide information about outlets, meeting rooms, amenities, and local attractions
  • Deliver messages, items, and guest amenities upon request
  • Shuttle guests to approved locations
  • Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures
  • Issue claim checks after receiving vehicle keys and collect claim checks before issuing keys
  • Complete and maintain all ticket information accurately including key tags, guest folios, vehicle location, damage surveys, and receipt documentation
  • Calculate and collect revenue for vehicles when needed
