Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver’s license for the state applied to or commutable distance
  • One month related experience and/or training
  • Ability to read and write standard English
  • Ability to comprehend and write simple instructions and correspondence
  • Ability to present information effectively
  • Basic arithmetic skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
  • Understanding of 24 hour and military time
  • Understanding of applicable rates
  • Ability to operate manual transmission (preferred)
  • Ability to perform parallel parking
  • Ability to handle physical demands including lifting up to 100 pounds
  • Capacity to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Availability to work Monday to Friday 7am to 3pm
  • Willingness to travel up to 5 percent
  • Ability to accommodate reasonable physical accommodations if needed

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Must hold a valid driver’s license for the state applying to work, or within commutable distance
  • One month related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services
  • Ability to read and write standard English
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos
  • Ability to write simple correspondence
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations
  • Ability to add and subtract three digit numbers, multiply and divide with 10's and 100's, and use units of American money
  • Ability to understand 24 hour and military time systems
  • Ability to understand rates applicable to time passed
  • Ability to operate a manual transmission is highly desirable
  • Perform parallel parking

Job Duties

  • Maintain pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with guests, co-workers, and clients
  • Acknowledge and greet guests within five feet with a professional and friendly demeanor
  • Use guest last names during interactions
  • Use salutation of the day and welcome guests to the location
  • Practice proper Towne Park phone etiquette
  • Post up in designated areas when not completing tasks
  • Park and retrieve vehicles while driving slowly and cautiously
  • Assist guests with bell services and luggage storage as needed
  • Open all vehicle and hotel doors for guests
  • Assist guests with directions, taxis, reservations and other inquiries
  • Provide guests with information about outlets, meeting rooms and/or amenities of the facility as well as main attractions in the area
  • Deliver messages, items and/or guest amenities as requested
  • Shuttle guests to appropriate approved places
  • Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures to guests upon arrival
  • Issue claim checks only after receiving vehicle keys
  • Collect claim checks from all guests prior to issuing keys
  • Complete and maintain all ticket information including key tag, guest folio, location of vehicle, damage survey and claim check receipt
  • Calculate and collect revenue for vehicles when needed
