Job Requirements
- Valid driver’s license for the state or commutable distance
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum one month related experience or training
- Ability to operate vehicles safely
- Strong customer service skills
- Capable of effective communication
- Ability to lift up to 100 pounds
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
- Ability to understand and perform duties following operational guidelines
- Availability to work day shifts Monday through Friday, 25-35 hours per week
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- One month related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Valid driver’s license for the state of employment or within commutable distance
- Knowledge of customer and personal service principles and processes
- Ability to read, write, and comprehend standard English language
- Effective communication skills in one-on-one and small group situations
- Basic arithmetic skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
- Understanding of 24-hour/military time and applicable rates
- Ability to operate manual transmission preferred
- Skilled in parallel parking
Job Duties
- Provide friendly and professional guest greetings and interactions
- Park and retrieve vehicles safely and efficiently
- Assist guests with luggage and bell services
- Provide guests with directions, taxi, reservations, and local information
- Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures to guests
- Complete and maintain accurate ticket information and claim check handling
- Calculate and collect parking revenue when necessary
