Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree
  • Valid driver’s license for the state or commutable distance
  • One month related experience or training or equivalent education and experience
  • Ability to read and write standard English
  • Ability to comprehend simple instructions and correspondence
  • Ability to write simple correspondence
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations
  • Basic math skills including addition and subtraction of three-digit numbers, multiplication and division by 10s and 100s
  • Understanding of American money units
  • Understanding of 24 hour and military time systems
  • Ability to understand applicable rates
  • Ability to operate a manual transmission is highly desirable
  • Ability to perform parallel parking

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Must hold a valid driver’s license for the state applied to or within commutable distance
  • One month related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Knowledge of customer and personal service principles and processes
  • Ability to read, write and comprehend standard English
  • Ability to present information effectively in one-on-one and small group situations
  • Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division with units of American money
  • Understanding of 24 hour and military time systems
  • Ability to understand parking rates and times
  • Ability to perform parallel parking
  • Ability to operate a manual transmission is highly desirable

Job Duties

  • Maintain pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with guests, co-workers and clients
  • Acknowledge and greet guests within five feet using their last names
  • Use salutation of the day and welcome guests
  • Practice proper Towne Park phone etiquette
  • Park and retrieve vehicles safely and cautiously
  • Assist guests with bell services and luggage storage
  • Open vehicle and hotel doors for guests
  • Assist with directions, taxis, reservations and inquiries
  • Provide information about outlet locations, meeting rooms and amenities
  • Deliver messages, items and guest amenities
  • Shuttle guests as approved
  • Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures
  • Issue and collect claim checks properly
  • Complete and maintain all ticket information including key tags, folios, and damage surveys
  • Calculate and collect vehicle parking revenue when needed
  • Post up in designated areas when not performing tasks
