Job Requirements
- Must hold a valid driver's license for the state or commutable distance
- One month related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to talk and hear regularly
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods
- Ability to walk, run, handle objects, reach with arms, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
- Ability to lift up to 100 pounds occasionally and 20 pounds constantly
- Willingness to work weekends
- Availability from 2pm-10pm Monday through Sunday
- Ability to work in outdoor weather conditions
- Ability to follow established procedures and guidelines
- Must be able to provide compassionate customer service
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services
- Ability to read and write standard English
- Ability to comprehend simple instructions and correspondence
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Ability to effectively present information in small group and one-on-one situations
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide using American money units
- Understanding of 24 hour and military time systems
- Ability to understand applicable rates for time passed
- Ability to operate manual transmission highly desirable
- Ability to perform parallel parking
Job Duties
- Maintain pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with guests, co-workers and clients
- Greet guests within five feet and use guest last names during interactions
- Park and retrieve vehicles safely and cautiously
- Assist guests with bell services and luggage storage
- Open vehicle and hotel doors for guests
- Provide guests with directions, taxis, reservations and facility information
- Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures
- Issue and collect claim checks
- Complete and maintain all ticket information accurately
- Calculate and collect revenue from vehicles as needed
