Job Requirements

  • Valid U.S. driver’s license or international equivalent
  • high school diploma, GED or equivalent
  • at least six (6) months of guest-service experience in a high-volume environment at a restaurant, resort, or private club
  • ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • ability to meet physical demands including working indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions, standing, walking, and lifting items sometimes greater than fifty (50) pounds
  • positive attitude and professional demeanor
  • exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to work in a team environment
  • ability to stay calm and focused during busy times

Job Qualifications

  • Valid U.S. driver’s license or international equivalent
  • high school diploma, GED or equivalent
  • at least six (6) months of guest-service experience in a high-volume environment at a restaurant, resort, or private club
  • prior valet attendant experience in luxury club or private resort setting preferred
  • proficient in proper and safe driving of vehicles
  • driving record that meets the club’s insurance requirements
  • able to sit and/or stand for extended periods and use vision, hearing, and hands/arms to drive multi-passenger vehicles
  • ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
  • additional languages preferred
  • ability to meet physical demands including working indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions, standing, walking, and lifting items sometimes greater than fifty (50) pounds

Job Duties

  • Provide exceptional service and communication at all times with members, guests, and team members
  • meet and greet all arriving/departing members and guests in a timely manner
  • park and retrieve member, guest and customer vehicles or golf carts in specified areas in an efficient and safe manner
  • perform drive and park assignments per department policies/procedures
  • keep parking areas clean and orderly
  • provide member assistance and information, such as giving directions, handling baggage, assisting with wheelchairs loading and unloading
  • ensure that members and guests belongings are retrieved and delivered to the proper outlet
  • maintain clean transportation shuttles and company vehicles including basic car wash, wiping interiors, and brief vacuuming
  • check condition of transport vehicle's tires, brakes, windshield wipers, lights, oil, fuel, water, and safety equipment
  • provide deliveries/pickups as needed, and run other errands
  • prepare and submit reports that include number of passenger trips, ridership, hours worked, mileage, and fuel consumption
  • comply with local and public traffic laws and highway safety rules in operating vehicles
  • follow written and verbal geographical directions
  • any additional duties as assigned
