Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • must have a valid California driver’s license
  • clean driving record
  • 3 or more months of related experience or training or equivalent combination of education and experience

Job Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • must have a valid California driver’s license
  • clean driving record
  • 3+ months of related experience and/or training or equivalent education
  • preferred 1+ years in hospitality
  • ability to drive manual and automatic transmissions

Job Duties

  • Collect and accurately label keys belonging to guests to ensure their proper return
  • operate vehicles safely and responsibly
  • park incoming cars safely and efficiently
  • organize and file paperwork regarding guests' vehicles and daily transactions
  • drive conservatively while adhering to all applicable traffic laws
  • announce stops and answer general questions about the property and local community
  • maintain a working knowledge of the property’s facilities, promotions, and special events
  • inspect vehicles prior to occupancy to verify cleanliness and stocking
  • conduct routine safety inspections of vehicles before and after every trip
  • report any problems or maintenance needs to management
  • maintain accuracy and thoroughness of departmental records and reports
  • assist guests and other team members in offering exceptional guest service
  • greet vehicles and guests warmly in the valet area
  • open doors for guests
  • fill out valet tickets and conduct vehicle spot inspections
  • provide positive interactions with guests and team members
  • maintain confidentiality on guest interaction and property operations
  • present information effectively in one-on-one and small group situations
  • manage parking functions including logging tickets and notifying valet of pickup
  • maintain logs and run reports related to car counts and parking information
  • perform duties of bell person and shuttle driver as necessary
  • other duties as assigned
