Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in hospitality or valet services preferred
  • valid driver’s license
  • ability to operate hotel van safely
  • dependable and punctual
  • strong communication skills
  • ability to handle high-pressure conditions
  • willingness to assume responsibility for personal growth
  • ability to maintain professional demeanor
  • adherence to company policies and procedures

Job Duties

  • Escort incoming guests to rooms
  • assist guests with luggage
  • inspect guest rooms to ensure they are in order and supplies are adequate
  • explain features of rooms such as operation of radio, television, in-room movie system
  • offer information about available hotel services, points of interest, and entertainment attractions
  • deliver messages and run errands
  • transport guests in hotel van within property requirements
  • maintain cleanliness of both interior and exterior of van
  • maintain all mileage records on a daily basis
  • report all trips to front desk, including length of drive and time spent
  • keep record of calls for service
  • deliver packages, suitcases, and trunks
  • set up sample rooms
  • respond to and resolve guest requests, complaints, or questions courteously and timely
