Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Good reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language
- Current valid driver’s license
- Ability to drive cars, trucks, and SUVs, including manual transmission
- Minimum of one year of experience in a guest services environment preferred
- Knowledge of the local area to provide directions and recommendations preferred
- Ability to work varying schedules including nights and/or weekends
- Ability to work outside consistently during all Oregon weather extremes
- Ability to stand, walk and/or run during 100% of the shift, except while driving
- Ability to lift/carry up to 70 lbs. frequently
- Ability to push/pull up to 150 lbs. on a luggage cart, including up inclines
- Ability to bend/kneel up to 50% of a shift
- Ability to work in a dog-friendly environment

Job Duties
- Provide valet parking services to safely and efficiently transport guest vehicles to designated parking areas
- Demonstrate a caring understanding of guest service needs, exceeding guest expectations by looking for opportunities to add a special touch
- Warmly greet guests who arrive to the hotel by opening their car door and welcoming them to the hotel
- Carefully unload guest luggage from vehicles
- Demonstrate keen attention to detail, accurately processing tickets and auditing throughout the shift to ensure a seamless guest experience
- Interact with guests in the lobby, demonstrating sincere hospitality
- Take pride in ensuring that the front drive and entrance is kept clean and inviting, reflecting genuine care for a positive first impression
- Accurately handle payment transactions and cash drops
- Recognize and engage positively with repeat guests
- Demonstrate the ability to work well unsupervised
- Operate in fluid communication with the Guest Services team and other departments in the hotel to ensure a smooth guest experience
- Maintain a positive working relationship with other associates, promoting teamwork and fostering a harmonious work climate
- Assist with responsibilities and duties in other departments as assigned by management
