Job Requirements

  • Must possess a valid driver’s license
  • Must have automobile insurance
  • Motor vehicle record must meet insurability standards set by the insurance carrier
  • Ability to drive automatic and manual transmission vehicles
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings weekends and holidays
  • Ability to handle stressful situations with professionalism and efficiency
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Job Qualifications

  • Prior experience as a valet parking attendant or in customer service role is preferred
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license automobile insurance and have a motor vehicle record that meets the standards of insurability set by the insurance carrier
  • Ability to drive both automatic and manual transmissions vehicles
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in various weather conditions
  • Ability to handle stressful situations with professionalism and efficiency

Job Duties

  • Greet all guests promptly with a warm and friendly demeanor upon arrival and departure
  • Assist guests with loading and unloading luggage as needed
  • Provide guests with clear valet instruction including accurate retrieval times billing details accurate wait times and safety information
  • Inspect all vehicles for pre-existing damage and document any findings prior to parking the vehicle
  • Park and retrieve guest vehicles while adhering to all traffic and safety regulations
  • Maintain an organized and efficient valet area to ensure smooth operations
  • Store keys securely with a unique identifier avoiding the use of license plate numbers
  • Keep track of valet tickets and vehicle locations to prevent delays and mix-ups
  • Provide directions information and recommendations about the hotel and local attractions
  • Follow all hotel policies and procedures including security protocols
  • Report any parking structure issues incidents or damage to vehicles to the Valet Supervisor immediately
  • Other duties as assigned
