Job Requirements
- None required
- Must possess a valid/current driver license and maintain an acceptable driving record
- Must pass certification quiz/test for position, which may include a ride-along/ride-behind evaluation
- Must pass periodic ride-along/ride behind evaluations
- Lift, carry or otherwise move up to 50 lbs regularly
- Lift, carry or otherwise move up to 75 lbs occasionally with assistance
- Able to stand, sit, walk, reach, use hands to finger, handle or feel, talk and hear regularly
- Be at least 21 years of age if driving commercial motor vehicles
- Speak and read English well enough to converse with the general public and understand highway traffic signals
- Adhere to all required state and federal motor carrier safety regulations (if applicable)
Job Qualifications
- Possess a valid/current driver license and maintain an acceptable driving record
- Must pass certification quiz/test for position, which may include a ride-along/ride-behind evaluation
- Must pass periodic ride-along/ride-behind evaluations
- Able to drive vehicles safely
- Be in good health and physically able to perform all duties of a driver
- Be at least 21 years of age (if driving vehicles regulated by federal or state motor carrier safety regulations)
- Speak and read English well enough to converse with the general public, understand highway traffic signals, respond to official questions and make legible entries on reports and records
- Qualified to drive a commercial motor vehicle (if applicable)
- Possess a valid medical certificate (if applicable)
Job Duties
- Park vehicles of all sizes in hotel valet parking section of parking garage
- Ensure the safety and care of guests personal items and property including but not limited to vehicles and luggage
- Assist guests with transportation of luggage to and from hotel guest rooms
- Act as a hotel concierge by assisting guests with restaurant recommendations, tips about the local area, finding transportation for guests, etc
- Pass certification quiz/test for position, which may include a ride-along/ride-behind evaluation
- Pass periodic ride-along/ride behind evaluations
- Adhere to all required state and federal motor carrier safety regulations
