Job Requirements
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to work assigned schedules and hours
- Ability to exert physical force up to 25 pounds constantly and up to 100 pounds occasionally
- Commitment to prompt, courteous, and safe vehicle handling
- Capability to assist customers physically when necessary
- Ability to adapt to changing situations and work in a team environment
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Valid driver's license required
- One or more years of transmission (auto/manual) experience preferred
- Experience in customer service or hospitality roles advantageous
Job Duties
- Offer to park vehicles and assist patients or visitors in handicap areas
- Retrieve vehicles upon request and return them to the most convenient location
- Operate guest vehicles safely and secure them after parking
- Assist guests physically into or from vehicles as needed
- Alert Security to potential crimes or acts of vandalism
- Provide assistance to employees, visitors, and staff as required
- Maintain patient drop-off areas clear of long-term parking
- Maintain entrance areas of the hospital both indoors and outdoors
- Keep valet log to track number and location of parked vehicles
- Perform other duties as assigned
