Job Requirements

Valid state driver’s license
ability to work assigned schedules and hours as determined by the department
physical ability to exert up to 25 pounds of force constantly and up to 100 pounds occasionally
ability to adapt to changing situations
ability to provide courteous and enthusiastic service
commitment to team collaboration
willingness to perform duties as assigned

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred
one or more years of transmission (auto/manual) experience preferred
valid state driver’s license
ability to work assigned schedules and hours as determined by the department
effective communication and interpersonal skills
ability to operate guest vehicles safely and securely
ability to work as part of a team
alertness to security issues

Job Duties

Offer to park vehicles
deliver guests to other Main Unit locations
assist patients or visitors in handicap areas
retrieve vehicles when requested and return them to patient’s convenient location
operate guest vehicles safely and lock them after parking
assist guests as appropriate
alert security to potential crimes or vandalism on hospital property
provide assistance to employees, visitors, and staff as required
assist in keeping patient drop-off areas clear by preventing long term parking
maintain entrance areas indoors and outdoors
maintain valet log to track number and location of parked vehicles
perform all other duties as assigned
