Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least three years of driving experience
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Availability for PRN/on-call shifts
- Ability to follow safety and traffic protocols
- Ability to maintain confidentiality per HIPAA guidelines
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of three years driving experience
- Ability to operate vehicles safely and courteously
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work under supervision with attention to detail
- Professional appearance and attitude
- Basic knowledge of traffic regulations
- Ability to maintain confidentiality in a healthcare environment
- Physical capability to assist patients with belongings
Job Duties
- Comply with traffic regulations to operate vehicles in a safe and courteous manner
- Professional and helpful demeanor with all patients, visitors, co-workers and clients
- Acknowledge, greet, and welcome patients/visitors using appropriate protocols
- Assist patients/visitors with loading and unloading belongings, providing directions and general assistance as needed
- Assess and document vehicle damage before taking any vehicle
- Record the location of the parking space as well as the number on the valet ticket
- Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures to patients and visitors upon arrival
- Immediately report any accidents to the manager on duty
- Maintain safe, clean and neat work environment by following standards and procedures
- Maintain strict confidentiality related to work information in accordance with HIPAA
- Perform other duties as assigned
