Job Requirements

  • Valid Hawaii driver’s license
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
  • Ability to lift and move objects up to 10 pounds
  • Ability to follow company policies
  • Must be tip-eligible
  • Ability to communicate clearly
  • No previous supervisory experience required

Job Duties

  • Open doors and assist guests and visitors entering and leaving the hotel
  • Control and direct vehicle traffic including guest vehicles, taxis, limousines, and buses
  • Ensure vehicles are legally parked and maintain smooth and efficient traffic flow
  • Provide directions and information to guests about hotel amenities, services, service times, and local areas of interest
  • Monitor and maintain the security, protection, and cleanliness of parking areas
  • Report any risks to vehicles, security, or safety issues to managers or supervisors
  • Safeguard vehicles and vehicle keys and communicate parking procedures to guests and visitors
  • Comply with company policies and procedures including reporting accidents and unsafe working conditions
  • Anticipate guest service needs, assist persons with disabilities, use clear and professional language when communicating, and answer phones using proper protocol
  • Cultivate positive working relationships and support team goals
  • Stand, sit, or walk for prolonged periods
  • Move, lift, transport, push, drag, and position objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance
  • Perform other reasonable duties requested by supervisors
