Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license
- Clean driving record
- Ability to work Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Weekend availability for part-time shifts
- Desire to work with seniors
- Tolerance for behaviors associated with dementia and aging
- Ability to safely assist residents and guests with mobility and belongings
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in valet or parking services preferred
- Experience working with seniors or in a senior living community preferred
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to assist seniors with mobility devices
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Job Duties
- Parking and retrieving of resident and guest vehicles
- Manage traffic flow in driveway for safety and optimal use of the area
- Assist residents and guests into and out of vehicle in a safe manner
- Insure vehicle keys are properly labeled, tracked, and returned to vehicle owner
- Assist residents and guests with belongings
- Assist residents with mobility devices as applicable
- Observe all traffic laws
- Practice safe driving techniques at all times
- Immediately report accidents or damage to any vehicle to Executive Director or Manager on Duty
- Assist concierge with resident deliveries
- Maintain a safe driving record that meets Company guidelines and insurance carrier requirements
- Report potentially unsafe conditions to the Executive Director
- Build and maintain healthy relationships while interfacing confidently with people of diverse levels and backgrounds
- Maintains a professional appearance and good personal hygiene per company policies
