Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in guest service or hospitality preferred
  • ability to lift up to 75 pounds
  • ability to work flexible shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • excellent communication skills
  • ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • ability to operate computer and phone systems
  • willingness to adhere to safety and security protocols
  • neat and professional appearance
  • ability to follow instructions and work independently and as part of a team

Job Qualifications

  • prior experience in hospitality or guest service preferred
  • ability to communicate professionally and positively with guests and team members
  • knowledge of the local area and hotel services
  • basic computer and telephone operation skills
  • ability to handle physically demanding tasks
  • ability to maintain a positive and cheerful demeanor under pressure

Job Duties

  • Open and close vehicle doors for guests
  • check guest luggage for both day and overnight visits
  • assist guests with storing and retrieving their luggage, including from vehicles
  • utilize bell carts to transfer luggage and packages
  • maintain and clean the designated lobby station and baggage room
  • ensure lobby and front exterior/interior areas are neat and clean
  • stand by ready to greet and assist guests
  • provide travel directions and local recommendations
  • answer phones to assist with guest calls
  • restock supplies at the front desk and business areas
  • promptly report emergencies, accidents, and safety hazards
  • maintain neat and well-groomed appearance
  • adhere to hotel taxi stand requirements
  • follow all company policies and procedures
  • follow safety and emergency procedures
  • utilize protective equipment
  • report unsafe conditions and incidents
  • assist other front desk personnel as needed
  • perform related duties as requested by supervisor or manager
