Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent is a plus
- Previous experience as Utility Worker, Dishwasher, or similar role
- Ability to work shifts including weekends and early evenings
- Knowledge of sanitation rules and kitchen safety procedures
- Physical capability to stand for long periods and handle kitchenware
- Ability to operate industrial dishwashing machines
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions carefully
Job Qualifications
- Work experience as a Utility Worker or Dishwasher or on Wait Staff
- Hands-on experience with industrial washing machines
- Ability to follow instructions and help with various tasks as needed
- Time management skills
- Attention to detail and sanitation rules
- Availability to work in shifts, during weekends and early evenings
- High school diploma is a plus
Job Duties
- Collect used kitchenware from dining and kitchen areas
- Load and unload dishwashing machines
- Wash specific items by hand such as wooden cutting boards, large pots, and delicate china
- Store clean dishes, glasses, and equipment appropriately
- Set up workstations before meal prep begins
- Ensure there are always enough clean dishes, glasses, and utensils, especially during peak hours
- Maintain cleaning supplies stock and place orders when necessary
- Check washing machines operation and report any technical or performance issues promptly
- Remove garbage regularly
- Sanitize the kitchen area including the floor
- Pass out trays and collect trays as necessary
- Deliver meals to various departments
