Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- physical capability to perform cleaning duties including lifting up to 50 pounds
- must be able to stand and move for long periods
- willingness to follow all safety and hygiene protocols
- legal eligibility to work in the United States
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred
- previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is advantageous
- ability to follow safety and hygiene standards
- strong communication skills to assist guests and coordinate with team members
- ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and standing for extended periods
- basic knowledge of handling cleaning chemicals safely
Job Duties
- Create a positive guest experience by cleaning and maintaining hygienic work areas
- maintain the cleanliness of all surfaces and equipment such as floors, ceiling tiles, walls, windows, worktables, hoods, vents, grills, refrigerators, service counters, storage areas
- remove refuse to designated areas
- clear and reset tables in dining areas between seatings and transport service-ware to the kitchen for cleaning
- scrape food from dirty dishes, pots, and pans and wash them by hand or load dishwasher and return them to proper storage place
- clean equipment using specific chemicals to meet sanitary standards
- assist all guests with specific requests and communicate special needs to server or supervisor
- load and unload supply trucks transferring between storage and work areas
- stock, date, rotate, and check the temperature of food items
- perform other duties as assigned
