Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- previous custodial experience preferred
- ability to follow safety procedures
- physical stamina and strength to perform cleaning and maintenance duties

Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent
- experience in custodial or janitorial work preferred
- knowledge of cleaning procedures, chemicals, and equipment
- ability to perform minor repairs
- good communication skills
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- physical ability to perform cleaning and maintenance tasks
Job Duties
- clean workspaces and general areas of Recreation facilities by maintaining floors in a clean state by sweeping, scrubbing, mopping
- empty and clean trash receptacles and collect recycling
- clean, sanitize, and supply restrooms
- clean and service custodial equipment as needed
- wash and clean windows as needed
- sweep Delmas long parking lot
- perform minor repairs on furniture, buildings, and equipment
- report any safety, sanitary, or fire hazards to Recreation Services Manager or Assistant Director of Public Services
- ensuring buildings are clean and orderly
