Job Requirements

Experience in similar capacities
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Maintain state food certifications as applicable
Pass appropriate security clearance per company policy
Ability to push or pull 60 pounds and lift and/or carry 60 pounds
Ability to stand for eight hours and perform physical activities such as bending, stretching and reaching
Ability to see and hear
Ability to speak and read English
Display professionalism, honesty and trustworthiness at all times

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Experience in similar capacities such as lodging, housing, hospitals or care facilities helpful but not mandatory
Maintain state food certifications as applicable
Ability to communicate professionally with guests and coworkers
Ability to work both independently and as a team member
Demonstrate professionalism, honesty and trustworthiness
Ability to multitask and remain service centric
Knowledge of sanitation and cost control procedures

Job Duties

Set up work station as required including dish machine, chemical levels, presoak
Operate equipment as manufacturer intended including cleaning and maintenance requests
Clean equipment such as hoods, filters, steam tables, bus tables, carts, ovens and grills
Maintain a clean and organized work area including storerooms
Have thorough knowledge of emergency procedures
May set up meeting rooms and handle guest issues and houseman duties when assigned
Perform other duties as assigned by hotel management
