Job Requirements
- Ability to pass appropriate security clearance per company policy
- Must be able to lift and carry 60 pounds
- Must be able to stand for eight hours and perform physical tasks such as bending, stretching, and reaching
- Must be able to see, hear, speak, and read English
- Display professionalism, honesty, and trustworthiness at all times
- Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends, holidays, and 24/7 availability
- Maintain state food certifications when applicable
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent of GED preferred
- Experience in lodging, housing, hospitals, or care facilities helpful but not mandatory

- Ability to communicate professionally with guests and co-workers
- Knowledge of proper cleaning, organization, and handling of kitchen utensils
- Ability to work independently and as a team member

Job Duties
- Provides excellent guest service in an efficient courteous professional manner
- Maintains cleanliness of the kitchen and organizes supplies
- Sets up work station as required including dish machines and chemical levels
- Operates kitchen equipment and requests maintenance assistance as needed
- Cleans equipment such as hoods, filters, steam tables, ovens, and grills
- Maintains a clean and organized work area and storerooms
- Adheres to safety and emergency procedures and reports hazardous conditions immediately
