Job Requirements
- ability to communicate effectively and perform simple arithmetic
- a minimum of one year experience as a prep cook with dishwasher responsibilities in a hotel, restaurant, club, or similar institution
- ability to plan and organize work, to interpret instructions, recipes, specifications, and standards
- knowledge of kitchen equipment operations and maintenance
- food handlers certification
- basic understanding of English

Job Duties
- maintains assigned workstation in a safe and sanitary condition
- maintains acceptable standards of personal hygiene and complies with department dress code
- attends in-service training and education sessions as assigned
- performs specific work duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor
- washes pots, pans, dishes, and kitchen utensils
- cleans kitchen and dining areas
- stores food and non-food supplies properly
- assists with kitchen equipment maintenance
