Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 6 months experience as a steward or dishwasher
- Ability to work varied shifts including afternoons, evenings and overnight
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items
- Flexible availability
- Team player with good communication skills
- Willingness to follow safety and sanitation guidelines
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of 6 months experience as a steward or dishwasher in a high-volume setting
- Minimum of 1 year working experience
- Hotel experience highly preferred
- Ability to work varied shifts including afternoon, evening and overnight shifts
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Commitment to high standards of cleanliness and efficiency
- Dependable and adaptable to dynamic work environments
Job Duties
- Wash dishes and operate the dishwasher to clean all chinaware, silverware and cooking utensils
- Scrub pots and pans
- Burnish, de-tarnish and polish silver
- Stock and maintain supplies and equipment
- Perform cleaning duties including mopping and removing trash
- Transport and store clean service ware
- Train other stewards as needed
- Prepare and place clean service ware for events and functions
