Job Requirements
- Must have a valid driver's license
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous machine repair experience preferred
- previous route driving experience preferred
- ability to drive safely and responsibly
- ability to lift and move merchandise
- good organizational skills
- willingness to work full-time schedule Saturday through Wednesday, 3:30 pm to 6:00 pm
- ability to follow safety procedures and maintain clean work environment
Job Qualifications
- Valid driver's license
- ability to ensure safe operation of company vehicles in accordance with traffic laws and conditions
- basic knowledge of machine repair preferred
- previous route driving experience preferred
- strong customer service skills
- ability to handle cash transactions accurately
- good communication skills
- ability to perform routine machine maintenance
- ability to operate electronic transaction devices
- teamwork and collaboration skills
- physical ability to load and unload merchandise
Job Duties
- Drives company-owned truck over established route to deliver and sell products or render services
- collects money from machines and makes change
- services a particular route or location during absence of regular route or warehouse employee
- assists Customer Service Managers with daily opening and closing of the operation
- helps train new route service personnel
- places stock on shelves or racks in vending machines
- collects stale, rejected or unsold merchandise
- refills bill and coin changers
- records transactions on appropriate card or electronic device and is accountable for cash and product
- calls on existing customers to determine adequacy of service and to inform of new products or services
- listens to and resolves service complaints
- selects items from warehouse and loads truck
- prepares order forms for food and pastry products
- performs routine maintenance and sanitation on machines
- sets up merchandise and sales promotion displays or issues materials to customers
- maintains clean and safe work environment
- performs other duties as assigned
