Job Requirements
- ability to work from a standing position and/or walking motion for extended periods of time
- ability to lift approximately 30 to 35 pounds repeatedly
- ability to perform reaching, stooping, stretching, crouching, and twisting motions repeatedly
- ability to push approximately 300 to 350 pounds
- visual capabilities needed to inspect own work upon completion
- ability to climb up and work from ladders
- willingness to adhere to uniform and grooming standards

Job Duties
- Follow all applicable safety precautions
- ensure that all kitchen trash is removed from the area and disposed of properly
- be always appropriately groomed and wear the uniform provided
- notify department management of needed repair work in the kitchen area
- complete all general cleaning functions requiring ladder access
- maintain assigned kitchen area in accordance with county health department and hotel standards
- ensure that foodservice supplies are properly maintained according to health and hotel standards
- take garbage, trash, and recyclables from kitchen areas to disposal sites
- clean kitchen loading/receiving dock with power wash daily
- complete power washing of equipment outdoors
- complete sweeping and mopping of kitchen floors
- assist other stewarding employees in their duties as time permits
- obtain kitchen maintenance supplies from storage
- assist in the organization of kitchen maintenance supply storage areas
- perform additional related duties as requested by department management
