Job Requirements
- High school diploma
- Experience with snow removal preferred
- Valid NYS driver’s license
- Knowledge of safety standards and precautions for moving heavy materials
- Ability to read and follow instructions
- Ability to perform heavy manual labor including lifting up to 75 lbs
- Knowledge of computer programs
- Willingness to work overtime when needed

- Knowledge of the safety standards and precautions pertaining to moving heavy materials related to the position, required
- Able to read and follow written and oral instructions, required
- Ability to continuously perform heavy manual labor, including bending, stooping, reaching and lifting objects up to 75 lbs, required
- Knowledge of computer programs
- May have to work overtime hours on an intermittent basis when operational needs arise
Job Duties
- Responsible for loading and unloading of trucks and moving furniture
- Move and set-up staging, tables and chairs for events
- Pick up of trash and litter around campus grounds
- Assist in snow removal from walkways and building entrances
- Assist other physical plant employees on projects when needed
- Perform other duties outside of job classification for Facilities department as assigned
