Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical labor
  • Flexible availability to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
  • Must be able to follow instructions and safety guidelines
  • Reliable transportation to and from work
  • Ability to stand for extended periods

Job Qualifications

  • Previous housekeeping or janitorial experience preferred
  • Ability to operate housekeeping equipment safely
  • Familiarity with chemical handling and sanitation standards
  • Good physical stamina and ability to perform cleaning tasks
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and guest service skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Job Duties

  • Stock and maintain housekeeping closets with linens, amenities, and cleaning supplies
  • Deliver clean linens, towels, and guest supplies to guestroom floors as needed
  • Remove soiled linens, trash, and recyclables from guestroom floors and designated service areas
  • Clean and maintain public and back-of-house areas including hallways, stairwells, elevators, service corridors, and storage rooms
  • Assist room attendants with moving furniture, retrieving supplies, and special guest requests
  • Support deep cleaning projects, room turns, and seasonal housekeeping initiatives
  • Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or lost-and-found items to housekeeping leadership promptly
  • Operate housekeeping equipment safely, including carts, vacuums, and compactors
  • Follow proper chemical handling, safety, and sanitation procedures in accordance with Hyatt policies and local regulations
  • Maintain a professional appearance and provide courteous service to guests encountered during the shift
