Job Requirements

  • Previous work experience as a utility or dishwasher
  • Hands-on experience with industrial washing machines
  • Ability to follow instructions and assist with various tasks
  • Strong time management skills
  • Attention to detail and adherence to sanitation rules
  • Availability to work in shifts
  • High school diploma is a plus

Job Duties

  • Collect used kitchenware from dining and kitchen areas
  • Load and unload dishwashing machines
  • Wash specific items by hand such as cutting boards and large pots and pans
  • Store clean dishes, glasses, and equipment appropriately
  • Assist with putting away deliveries and maintaining an organized back-of-house
  • Set up workstations before meal prep begins
  • Ensure a sufficient supply of clean dishes, glasses, and utensils especially during peak hours
  • Monitor dishwashing machine operations and report any technical or performance issues promptly
  • Regularly remove garbage and sanitize the kitchen area including the floor
