Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • experience in food service or kitchen operations preferred
  • ability to lift and carry heavy items
  • ability to stand for extended periods
  • willingness to work early mornings or flexible hours
  • good communication skills
  • ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Job Qualifications

  • experience with dishwashing and kitchen sanitation
  • familiarity with health and safety regulations in food service
  • ability to handle kitchen equipment safely
  • strong organizational skills
  • reliable and punctual
  • basic culinary knowledge is a plus

Job Duties

  • collect used kitchenware from dining and kitchen areas
  • load and unload dishwashing machines
  • wash specific items by hand such as cutting boards and large pots and pans
  • store clean dishes, glasses, and equipment appropriately
  • assist with putting away deliveries and maintaining an organized back-of-house
  • set up workstations before meal prep begins
  • ensure a sufficient supply of clean dishes, glasses, and utensils during peak hours
  • monitor dishwashing machine operations and report any technical issues
  • regularly remove garbage and sanitize the kitchen area including floors
