Job Requirements
- Must take and pass all required training courses and assessments
- Peel and cut vegetables, fruit, and meat for food preparation
- Perform routine and repetitive tasks under leadership direction
- Understand and follow kitchen recipe and prep systems
- Clean work area, equipment, utensils, dishes, and silverware
- Maintain standards for food production, handling, cooking, housekeeping, sanitation, and safety
- Assist in training team members
- Clean food preparation and production areas
- Load, run, and unload the dish machine
- Keep the dish machine clean and report issues
- Monitor dish machine water temperature and chemicals
- Wash and store all tableware and kitchenware
- Keep the dish room clean and organized
- Bag and haul dish room trash
- Show flexibility in schedule and fill in as needed
- Maintain a high level of personal cleanliness
- Be a team player and help fellow members
- Understand OSHA and HACCP compliance
- 1-2 years experience in similar position
- Must be at least 18 years of age
Job Qualifications
- 1-2 years experience in a similar position
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must have or be willing to obtain Food Handlers Certification
- Ability to follow kitchen recipe and preparation systems
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
Job Duties
- Assist in preparing food items according to Hawkers recipes
- Maintain cleanliness of dishware, glassware, and silverware
- Clean the entire restaurant and its perimeters including restrooms
- Load, run, and unload the dish machine
- Ensure proper disposal of food waste
- Assist in training new and existing team members
- Follow OSHA and HACCP compliance standards
