Job Duties
- Operate and maintain cleaning equipment including dishwashers and hand-washing stations
- wash and disinfect kitchen areas, tables, utensils, knives, and equipment
- receive and properly store perishable deliveries and rotate inventory
- ensure clean dishware is stored appropriately
- use chemical detergents, disinfectants, and rinse products in a three-compartment sink to wash dishware
- inspect, remove, and stack clean items
- send dirty items back for re-washing
- apply hot water spray to loosen and remove food residues
- sort, soak, and wash cutlery
- segregate dirty containers
- empty trash bins and maintain waste deposit areas
- clean and mop assigned departmental areas
- dispose of glass in proper containers
- break down cardboard and recyclable materials and place them in recycling bins
- comply with company safety policies and report hazards or incidents
- protect company property
- communicate clearly and professionally with others
- develop positive working relationships and support team goals
- meet quality expectations and standards
- lift, move, and transport objects up to 50 pounds independently
- stand, sit, or walk for prolonged periods
- reach overhead and below knees, including bending, twisting, and crouching
- perform reasonable job-related tasks as assigned by supervisors
