Job Requirements
- High school graduation or GED required
- 1-2 years' experience in a similar position desired
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English fluently
- Ability to meet or exceed company attendance and punctuality standards
- Ability to use miscellaneous software and office equipment
- Ability to understand and follow directions
- Ability to work with minimal supervision

Job Duties
- Assist the Executive Chef or Director of Dietary Services with food and supply inventory calculation
- Attend to kitchen spills and keep floors and surfaces clean
- Assist in meal preparation while managing portion control and special diet requirements
- Follow sanitation schedules and conduct sanitation inspections
- Prevent food contamination by proper covering, labeling, and storage
- Assist with receiving, inspecting, and storing supplies
- Remove trash and monitor garbage disposal areas related to dietary services
- Wash, scrub, and dry dishes, utensils, beverage containers, and kitchen equipment
- Manage dishwashing stations and ensure chemical standards follow safety guidelines
- Perform preventive maintenance and equipment checks on dishwashing equipment
- Transport dishes back to the main kitchen for cleaning
- Set up and break down member or resident events as assigned
