Job Requirements
- Ability to bend, twist, and stand to perform normal job functions
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 40 lbs
- Ability to frequently immerse hands in water and water diluted with chemical solutions
- Willingness to adhere to safety and security protocols
- Effective communication skills in English
- Prior experience in a similar role preferred but not mandatory
Job Qualifications
- Ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic and outgoing manner
- Ability to speak, read, and comprehend instructions, short correspondence and policy documents
- Demonstrated experience in similar utility or kitchen cleaning roles preferred
- Understanding of sanitation and safety standards
- Basic physical fitness for standing, bending, and lifting
- Familiarity with cleaning chemicals and equipment
Job Duties
- Cleans equipment including work tables, refrigerators, and meat blocks
- Cleans utensils, pots and pans by hand or in dishwashing machine
- Returns cleaned utensils and equipment to proper places
- Removes trash and garbage to designated areas
- Sweeps, mops, scrubs and buffs floors with heavy equipment
- Cleans walls, windows and steam cleans trashcans
- Stocks, dates, rotates and checks temperature of products
- Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas by hand or hand truck
- Loads and unloads supply trucks
- Follows all security and safety procedures established by the company
