Job Requirements
- Ability to bend, twist, and stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds
- Frequently immersing hands in water or chemical solutions
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Demonstrated friendly and enthusiastic interpersonal skills
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in a similar role is an advantage
- Ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly and outgoing manner
- Basic reading, writing, and comprehension skills
- Ability to adhere to safety and security procedures
- Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team
Job Duties
- Clean equipment including work tables, refrigerators, and meat blocks
- Clean utensils, pots, and pans by washing by hand or in dishwashing machine
- Return clean utensils, pots, and pans to proper locations
- Remove trash and garbage to designated areas
- Sweep, mop, scrub, and buff floors using heavy equipment
- Clean walls, windows, and steam clean trashcans
- Stock, date, rotate, and check temperature of products
- Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas by hand or hand truck
- Load and unload supply trucks
- Follow all security and safety procedures
