Job Requirements
- Ability to bend, twist, and stand to perform normal job functions
- ability to lift and/or move up to 40 lbs
- demonstrate friendly, enthusiastic and outgoing interaction with the public and coworkers
- ability to speak, read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence and policy documents
- frequently immerse hands in water and water diluted with chemical solutions
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in food service or janitorial roles preferred
- ability to communicate effectively with coworkers and the public
- knowledge of cleaning chemicals and sanitary procedures
- ability to follow instructions and maintain safety standards
- physical ability to perform bending, lifting, twisting, and standing tasks
Job Duties
- Clean equipment including work tables, refrigerators, and meat blocks
- clean utensils, pots, and pans by hand or using dishwashing machines
- return clean items to proper storage locations
- remove trash and garbage to designated areas
- sweep, mop, scrub, and buff floors using heavy equipment
- clean walls, windows, and steam clean trashcans
- stock, date, rotate and check temperature of products
- transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas
- load and unload supply trucks
- follow all security and safety procedures established by the company
