Job Requirements
- Ability to bend, twist, and stand to perform normal job functions
- ability to lift and move up to 40 lbs
- demonstrates ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner
- ability to speak, read, and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and policy documents
- frequent immersion of hands in water and water diluted with chemical solutions required
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous cleaning or janitorial experience in a food service environment helpful
- ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly and outgoing manner
- basic reading and comprehension skills
- ability to follow instructions and safety guidelines
- physical stamina to handle extensive standing, bending, and lifting
- willingness to learn and grow within the company
Job Duties
- Cleans equipment including work tables, refrigerators, and meat blocks
- cleans utensils, pots, and pans by hand or dishwasher
- returns clean utensils, pots, and pans to proper places
- removes trash and garbage to designated areas
- sweeps, mops, scrubs, and buffs floors using heavy equipment
- cleans walls, windows, and steam cleans trashcans
- stocks, dates, rotates, and checks temperature of products
- transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas by hand or hand truck
- loads and unloads supply trucks
- follows all security and safety procedures established by the company
