Job Requirements
- Ability to bend, twist, and stand to perform normal job functions
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 40 lbs
- Demonstrate friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing interaction with the public and coworkers
- Ability to speak, read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence and policy documents
- Frequently immerse hands in water and water diluted with chemical solutions
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a cleaning or sanitation role preferred
- Ability to follow health and safety protocols
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly and outgoing manner
- Basic reading and comprehension skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Job Duties
- Clean equipment including work tables, refrigerators, and meat blocks
- Clean utensils, pots and pans by hand or using dishwashing machines
- Return clean utensils, pots and pans to proper places
- Remove trash and garbage to designated areas
- Sweep, mop, scrub and buff floors using heavy equipment
- Clean walls, windows and steam clean trashcans
- Stock, date, rotate and check temperature of products
- Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas
- Load and unload supply trucks
- Follow all security and safety procedures established by the company
