Job Requirements
- ability to bend, twist and stand for extended periods
- ability to lift and move up to 40 pounds
- ability to speak, read and comprehend instructions and policy documents
- frequent immersion of hands in water and chemical cleaning solutions
- demonstrate friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing demeanor
- willingness to follow safety and security protocols
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous experience in a similar utility or cleaning role is an advantage
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- strong attention to detail
- effective communication skills
- ability to interact with coworkers and the public in a friendly manner
- basic understanding of safety and sanitation standards
Job Duties
- Clean equipment including work tables, refrigerators and meat blocks
- clean utensils, pots and pans by hand or dishwasher
- return clean utensils and cookware to proper places
- remove trash and garbage to designated areas
- sweep, mop, scrub and buff floors using heavy equipment
- clean walls, windows and steam clean trashcans
- stock, date, rotate and check temperature of products
- transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas
- load and unload supply trucks
- follow all security and safety procedures
