Job Requirements
- Five years journey level experience in HVAC and refrigeration trades or related maintenance fields
- licensed in the State of Oregon as a Limited Maintenance Electrician
- valid Oregon driver’s license with a good driving record
- ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical manuals
- knowledge of troubleshooting and diagnostic tools
- basic computer proficiency
- ability to lift up to 100 pounds and work at heights up to 40 feet
- ability to maintain professional and friendly work relationships
- willingness to respond to emergency calls during and after work hours
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Maintain electrical, refrigeration, HVAC, general plumbing, mechanical systems, and appliances
- maintain records of work and provide reports to supervisors
- troubleshoot and repair refrigeration equipment, food service equipment, machinery, and appliances
- maintain and troubleshoot fire protection systems
- inspect and maintain food service equipment and perform repairs on electrical appliances
- perform preventative maintenance and complete inspections by scheduled dates
- perform maintenance on plumbing fixtures, boilers, feed water systems, and steam equipment
- respond to emergency utility requests during and after work hours
- correct and report safety hazards on campus
- maintain shop and mechanical areas clean and orderly
- operate equipment such as forklifts, carts, generators, and pumps
- assist in safety and disaster programs, attend training and conferences, support college functions and commencement
- share knowledge and cross-train employees
- supervise and mentor student and temporary workforce
