Job Requirements

  • must be able to communicate clearly with managers, kitchen and FOH personnel
  • must be able to stand for at least 8 hours and lift at least 50 pounds
  • reliable and punctual
  • ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • commitment to maintaining a clean and organized workspace
  • ability to follow safety protocols and maintain hygiene standards

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • strong communication skills
  • ability to follow detailed instructions
  • experience in a restaurant or similar setting is a plus
  • willingness to learn and take direction
  • physical stamina to stand for long periods and perform manual tasks

Job Duties

  • work fast and clean at all times - sweeping/squeegeeing, changing 3-bin and trash
  • follow directions from the kitchen leadership
  • maintain an organized system and improve it continuously
  • communicate regularly with the sous chef about their station, chemicals, machinery, and projects
  • collaborate with team members and assist wherever needed
  • ensure cleanliness and safety in line with health standards
  • support overall kitchen operations by managing porter responsibilities efficiently
