Job Requirements
- 18 years or older
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Can lift up to 50 lbs at a time
- Can move up and down ladders frequently
- Comfortable working at heights frequently
- Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time
- Able to work in various temperatures
- Hold a valid state-issued driver's license with a clean driving record and ability to pass a motor vehicle record report
- Vocational or technical certification and 1 year experience, or 2 years total work experience, in plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or related trade
Job Qualifications
- Vocational or technical certification in a relevant trade
- Minimum of three years experience in plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or related trade
- Completion of a 2-year vocational or technical trade program preferred
- License in related trade in city and/or state where job is located preferred
- Proficient in intermediate level functionality of word processing, spreadsheet, email, and presentation software such as Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
Job Duties
- Maintain and repair Walmart facilities, equipment, and assets by utilizing multiple craft skills such as plumbing, electrical, carpentry, material handling equipment, and food equipment
- Utilize the work order management system to receive reactive repair work orders to support stores and store associates and document repair activities
- Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls
- Inspect, operate, or test facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues
- Complete all required training requirements to operate equipment and tools safely
