Job Requirements
- 18 years or older
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Can lift up to 50 lbs at a time
- Can move up and down ladders frequently
- Comfortable working at heights frequently
- Ability to sit or stand for long periods
- Able to work in various temperatures
- Hold a valid state-issued driver’s license with a clean driving record and ability to pass a motor vehicle record report
- Vocational or technical certification and 1 year experience, or 2 years total work experience, in plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or related trade
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Vocational or technical certification in a related trade
- Minimum 1-2 years of relevant experience in plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or related fields
- Valid state-issued driver’s license with clean driving record
- Ability to use work order management systems and basic computer software such as word processing and spreadsheets
- Preferred: completion of a 2-year vocational or technical trade program
- Preferred: licensing in related trade
- Preferred: proficiency with intermediate level word processing, spreadsheet, email, and presentation software
Job Duties
- Maintain and repair Walmart facilities, equipment, and assets by utilizing multiple craft skills such as plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and material handling equipment using hand and power tools
- Utilize the work order management system to receive reactive repair work orders and document repair activities
- Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls
- Inspect, operate, or test facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues
- Complete all required training to safely operate equipment and tools
- Adhere to maintenance schedules and guidelines under supervision
- Support store associates by ensuring functional, safe facilities
