Job Requirements
- One year’s general management experience including financial accountability
- Two years of college or one year retail experience and one year supervising at least 10 associates
- Or two years general work experience and one year supervising at least 10 associates
- Completion of job-required trainings and assessments
- For facilities selling ammunition, acknowledgement of state-required Certificates of Eligibility
- For facilities selling firearms, successful completion of firearms-specific background check and training
- Ability to comply with Walmart’s drug-free workplace policy
- Eligible to work at 4545 Lafayette Rd, Indianapolis, IN 46254-2033

Job Duties
- Direct and guide management and hourly associates on customer service approaches and techniques
- Model excellent customer service using examples and training
- Resolve customer needs, complaints, and issues within company guidelines
- Build relationships with associates to provide feedback and information
- Drive financial performance by managing budgeted sales, wages, and expenses
- Assist store manager in controlling expenses and aligning them with sales
- Create and implement plans to improve financial performance and budget forecasting
- Participate in community outreach and represent the company in local organizations
- Direct facility operations including service levels, merchandise presentation, inventory management, and safety reviews
- Hire, train, mentor, and develop management and hourly associates
- Assign duties, set expectations, and provide recognition
- Drive execution of business plans by identifying needs and removing barriers
- Establish performance standards and evaluate progress
- Promote and support company policies, mission, values, and ethics
- Evaluate effectiveness of plans and solicit suggestions for improvements
- Build high-performing teams and promote diversity and inclusion
- Communicate with impact to motivate and influence
- Attract, retain, and develop talent
- Act with integrity and maintain compliance
- Serve customers by adapting to their needs and applying business models
- Make data-driven decisions balancing priorities
