Job Requirements

  • 6 months experience in a fresh production department or 6 months experience supervising a team
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Successful completion of all job-required trainings and assessments within prescribed time period
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced retail food environment

Job Duties

  • Supervises the team within all prepared foods departments such as café, rotisserie, and prepared foods by facilitating rotations through different fresh areas and managing members' needs to deliver on the business plan and contribute to overall success
  • Communicates the goals of the department and executes company programs while adhering to policies and advocating for the member, associate, and company
  • Maintains in-depth knowledge of business on the floor and backroom operations ensuring quality, inventory, production, sanitation, equipment usage, safety, and compliance standards are met
  • Leverages digital tools to plan for and drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement
  • Drives business results ensuring commitment to operational excellence, profitability, cleanliness, staffing levels, audit and compliance, and merchandise presentation
  • Teaches and trains the team by identifying training needs, developing necessary skills, encouraging career growth, and sourcing new talent
  • Develops, communicates, and implements processes and practices to meet business needs by collaborating with various stakeholders and continuously improving operations
