Job Duties
- Supervises the team within all prepared foods departments, facilitates rotations through different fresh areas, manages members needs to deliver on the business plan and contribute to the overall success of the club
- Communicates the goals of the department, executes company programs, adheres to policies, advocates for the member, associate and company
- Maintains an in-depth knowledge of business on the floor and backroom operations ensuring quality, inventory, production, sanitation, equipment usage, safety and compliance standards
- Manages seasonality in production, learns new products, recipes and processes
- Collaborates with associates and third parties to ensure resources and training availability
- Leverages digital tools to plan sales, improve shopping experience and elevate associate engagement
- Drives business results by planning for profitability, maintaining a neat, clean and safe work environment, ensuring staffing levels and compliance standards
- Teaches and trains team, identifies training needs, encourages career growth, sources new talent
- Develops and implements processes to meet business needs, analyzes multiple data sources, monitors progress and improvement opportunities
- Promotes compliance with company policies, ethics and integrity
- Leads and participates in team activities, coordinates work assignments, provides feedback and models adaptability to change
- Embraces workplace diversity and fosters a culture of belonging
- Acts with integrity, holds self and others accountable, supports the company’s goals
