Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Six months experience in a fresh production department or six months experience supervising a team
- Successful completion of all job-required trainings and assessments within prescribed time
- Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment
- Willingness to comply with company policies including drug-free workplace rules
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Six months experience in a fresh production department or six months experience supervising a team
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to use handheld technology and digital tools
- Experience in training and developing team members
- Ability to collaborate across departments and with third parties
- Food Handler Certification (preferred)
- Supervisory experience (preferred)
Job Duties
- Supervises the team within all prepared foods departments by facilitating rotations and managing member needs to deliver on the business plan
- Maintains an in-depth knowledge of business on the floor and backroom operations ensuring quality, inventory, production, sanitation, equipment usage, safety and compliance
- Manages seasonality in production by understanding new products, recipes, processes and prioritizing time
- Collaborates with associates and third parties to provide resources and training
- Leverages digital tools for planning sales, improving shopping experience, and associate engagement
- Drives business results by planning for profitability, maintaining safe work areas, staffing appropriately, and ensuring compliance standards
- Teaches and trains the team, encourages career growth, and sources new talent
- Develops, communicates and implements processes to meet business needs collaborating with various stakeholders
- Demonstrates and supports compliance with company policies, ethics and integrity
- Leads and participates in teams, motivates others, and models adaptability
- Embraces diversity, builds strong relationships, and communicates positively
- Maintains high standards of integrity and supports Walmart's culture
- Delivers customer-focused results balancing short- and long-term priorities
- Displays continuous improvement, and supports change and new technologies
