Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Six months experience in a fresh production department or six months experience supervising a team
  • Successful completion of job required trainings and assessments within prescribed time period
  • Ability to work collaboratively with team members and third parties
  • Adherence to company policies, procedures, and ethical standards
  • Must be able to maintain a clean, safe, and compliant work environment

  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Proficiency in using digital tools and technology for business operations

Job Duties

  • Supervise the team within all prepared foods departments including café, rotisserie, and prepared foods by facilitating rotations and managing members' needs
  • Communicate department goals, execute company programs, and advocate for the member, associate, and company
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of business operations on the floor and backroom ensuring quality, inventory, production, sanitation, equipment usage, safety, and compliance
  • Manage seasonality, new products, recipes, processes, production specifications, and prioritize time across areas
  • Collaborate with associates and third parties ensuring resources, training, and knowledge sharing
  • Utilize digital tools to plan and drive sales, improve shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement
  • Ensure operational excellence by planning for profitability, maintaining a clean and safe work area, managing staffing levels and compliance standards
  • Produce and display merchandise according to layout plans and engage with other departments and partners for operational continuity
  • Teach and train the team by identifying needs, providing necessary skills, encouraging career growth, and sourcing new talent
  • Develop, implement, and communicate processes by analyzing information and monitoring progress
  • Promote and support compliance with company policies, ethics, and procedures
  • Lead and participate in teams by coordinating work assignments, providing feedback, and modeling adaptability to change or new challenges
