Job Duties
- supervises the team within all prepared foods departments by facilitating rotations through different fresh areas and managing members' needs to deliver on the business plan and contribute to the overall success of the club
- communicates the goals of the department
- executes company programs
- adheres to policies and advocates for the member, the associate, and the company
- maintains in-depth knowledge of business on the floor and backroom operations ensuring quality, inventory, production, sanitation, equipment usage, safety, and compliance
- manages seasonality in terms of production and prioritizes time between areas
- collaborates with associates and third parties to ensure resources and training
- leverages digital tools to plan for and drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement
- drives business results ensuring operational excellence, profitability, cleanliness, safety, staffing, audit and compliance standards
- produces and displays merchandise according to the merchandise layout plan
- engages with other departments and third-party partners to ensure operational continuity
- teaches and trains the team by identifying training needs and providing skills development
- encourages career growth and sources new talent
- develops, communicates, and implements processes and practices to meet business needs
- promotes compliance with company policies and ethics
- leads and participates in teams to coordinate work and adapt to change
