Job Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Six months experience in a fresh production department or six months experience supervising a team
  • Successful completion of all job-required trainings and assessments within prescribed time
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment
  • Flexibility to manage different prepared foods areas
  • Willingness to utilize digital tools and handheld technology
  • Compliance with company policies, safety, and regulatory standards

Job Qualifications

  • Six months experience in a fresh production department or six months experience supervising a team
  • Supervising a team preferred
  • Food handler certification preferred
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Proficiency with digital tools and technology
  • Commitment to integrity and ethical behavior
  • Ability to train and develop team members
  • Customer-focused with problem-solving skills

Job Duties

  • Supervise and lead the team within all prepared foods departments including café and rotisserie
  • Facilitate rotations through different fresh areas to meet member needs
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of floor and backroom operations
  • Ensure compliance with quality, inventory, production, sanitation, equipment usage, safety, and regulatory standards
  • Manage production seasonality including new products and recipes
  • Collaborate with associates and third parties to provide necessary resources and training
  • Utilize digital tools and handheld technology to plan, drive sales, and improve the shopping experience
  • Drive business results by ensuring operational excellence, staffing, and audit compliance
  • Engage with other departments and external partners to ensure operational continuity
  • Teach and train team members, promote career growth, and source new talent
  • Develop and implement processes to meet business needs and improve performance
  • Demonstrate and promote compliance with company policies and ethics
  • Lead and participate in team efforts, providing support and adapting to change
  • Foster a culture of inclusion, respect, and integrity among associates
  • Deliver results while putting customers and members first
  • Make informed decisions balancing short and long-term priorities
  • Drive continuous improvement by embracing new technologies and supporting change
